Love reading your blog. My cousin is currently living in Costa Rica, she went for a wedding and never came back. She has opened many of schools in the area and also teaches TEFL. I lived there for 3 months and had the opportunity to live like the Costa Ricans do. What an amazing experience! Enjoy your travels. Poryecto Montezuma is her school/website 🙂

OMG! Glad to stumble upon your blog. I’ve always wanted to travel, explore the world and to become ME and do things that make me HAPPY. I became really bored sitting at my desk and most of the time just staring at my computer. I realized I’m not happy with what I am doing, and want to go outside and explore. I tried to take a break and visited Vietnam before the end of 2015. From there, I told myself that I should do this (traveling) more often. I’ve never felt free and happy. Since then, I wanted to make my own story–while traveling. What’s holding me up is my budget. Good thing I saw your site. I know I can get more tips here and maybe could find a way to find a job while I could wander anywhere I want. Have a great day! 🙂 ♥

You can easily be a climber if you want and there are so many amazing places to climb almost everywhere you go. Some of the guide services there like Basecamp Tonsai can teach as well as guide. Probably a safer start than hoping an unknown climbing partner knows what they’re doing. I can give you a list of places and guide services in tons of locations if you want. Deep water soloing is fun but more of a carnival ride than normal rock climbing. Question – how do you travel with a hula hoop? Just basic climbing gear and my yoga mat seem to take up more space than I’d like.

My hoops are collapsible, so essentially they coil down to half the size and I have a special bag for them. They are an obnoxious shape but very light. Thankfully!

I didn’t know you were climbing there as well. The rock is steep and wonderful there. It’s fun to meet and climb with people from all over the world too. Have you gone deep water soloing yet? Not climbing in the normal sense, but still a great time. I think I put some pics on my blog. The hoop looks like fun, but the few times I’ve tried were pretty pitiful. :-O

Yeah, I mean… I’m not like “a climber” although I wish I was. I have been a couple times and I hope to go more. I love it! Not sure about deep water solo climbing. I envision myself hitting the water wrong. I have a knack for that. 🙂

I love your blog and just had to comment when I saw this. I was standing in this exact same spot just a few months ago even though I was climbing rather than hula hooping (pretty sure I would be beyond terrible with a hula hoop). Such an incredible place and I can’t wait to go back. Keep posting and living the life!
